About the Speaker:

Dr Sami Al-Arian is a the director of the Center for Islam and Global Affairs (CIGA), Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Turkey. Originally from Palestine, Dr Arian is an academic, speaker, and a human rights activist. He has authored several publications on the topics of religion, interfaith dialogue, US foreign policy, and Palestine. Dr Arian is widely recognized for his advocacy of the Palestinian rights.
