Executive President IPS Khalid Rahman visited Beijing, China on the invitation of China Institute of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) from May 3-5, 2017 where he held meetings with the Chinese Institute’s team of scholars.

The hosting team, which was headed by Hu Shisheng, director, Institute of South and Southeast Asian and Oceania Studies, CICIR, had a discussion with Executive President IPS on several important matters with special focus on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Pak-China relations, and issues related to the security situation of the region.
