The Conduct of Pakistan’s Foreign Policy (2018-20) | Pakistan’s Engage Africa Policy (Part 9)

In 2019, the incumbent government launched the “Engage Africa Initiative” in a bid to strengthen political, diplomatic linkages, and economic ties with the African continent, expand cultural and people-to-people exchanges, and reviving Pakistan’s historical and long-standing partnership with Africa. This brief analyzes the progress made over the initiative so far while offering suggestions for making it more effective.
