Increased engagement with youth is critical for Pakistan’s political landscape

During a recent special meeting of the National Academic Council of IPS aimed at devising effective measures to address the ongoing national crisis, Nazeer Ahmad Mahar, the Executive Director at The Research Initiative, shared his expert insights on the matter. Mahar highlighted that over the past three decades, a new generation has emerged in Pakistan with differing views on the future of the country. He emphasized that to effectively tackle the challenges faced by the nation, it is imperative to engage with this generation and seek their input on potential solutions. By fostering a culture of inclusive participation and listening to the voices of the younger generation, Mahar believes that Pakistan can work towards consensus and ultimately overcome the current crisis (March 11, 2023).
