Written by Brigadier (Retd.) M. Shafi Khan, this booklet discusses one of the oldest disputes of contemporary world. While highlighting the Kashmir issue as not being a matter of territorial conflict only, it envisages it as the question of basic human rights, the right of self-determination and the survival of millions of innocent Kashmiri people. The study focuses on the strategies employed by India since 1947 to get full control of Kashmir. Providing an insight into the historical events wherein India had turned its back from the United Nations’ resolutions, not complementing its desire to exercise power on Kashmir, the writer has put an effort to draw attention towards the injustices done by India against the Kashmiri people while threatening their survival.
