Brainstorming Research Ideas in Maritime Affairs

Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), Islamabad in collaboration with National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA), is organizing an interactive session titled ‘Brainstorming Research Ideas in Maritime Affairs‘ for young researchers interested in maritime affairs on Thursday, January 03, 2019.

The academic collaboration is part of ‘Indigenizing Policy Research in Pakistan Initiative’ under IPS LEAD – the Learning, Excellence and Development Program of Institute of Policy Studies (IPS). It aims to sensitize the researchers and stakeholders on the importance of indigenous research-based policy solutions in Pakistan and the critical need for an interface between research and policy or an ecosystem for the purpose.

All young social scientists and/or inter-disciplinary researchers especially from International Relations, Strategic and Defense Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies, International Law, Environmental Sciences, Governance & Public Policy, Economics, Sociology, Pakistan Studies, etc, enrolled in, MS, MPhil, LLM and PhD programs are invited to join us and brainstorm for ideas for their research topics with senior experts and practitioners in the maritime domain.
