IPS gets new Chairman, two new VCs
Based on a few critical constitutional changes adopted by IPS’ Board of Governors, former executive president and director general of IPS Khalid Rahman was elected as the Institute’s new chairman on January 29, 2021. Rahman has replaced Professor Khurshid Ahmad, former senator and founding chairman of the Institute, in the position, who himself has been elevated to the rank of the Institute’s patron-in-chief. The board of governors has also appointed two new vice-chairmen, Former ambassador Syed Abrar Hussain as vice chairman (Academics) and eminent industrialist Abrar Ahmed Magoon as vice chairman (Endowment), both of whom will be assisting the new chairman.
