The latest issue (number 29, October-March 2011) of biannual Nuqta-e-Nazar has been published. The journal is dedicated to the in-depth reviews and commentaries on books published in Pakistan on Islam, culture, history, the Muslim world, Urdu and Persian literature and other related themes. Launched in October 1996, the journal serves as a useful resource for readers seeking an orientation to major issues and important works concerning ideology of Pakistani Muslims, their traditions and the challenges facing them. The latest issue comprises the detailed reviews on 39 books along with the brief introductions of more than 22 publications, published recently in Pakistan.
