IPS team visits Al-Kauthar University

On the invitation of
the Department of English, Al-Kauthar Islamic University, Islamabad, a
four-member delegation from IPS visited the University on December 7, 2019.

Headed by IPS’ Senior Research Officer Syed Nadeem Farhat, and comprising
Deputy Manager Outreach Sardar Ali Yousafzai and the Institute’s research team
members Asim Ehsan and Osama Hameed, the delegation met the faculty members of
the University led by Muntazir Mehdi, chairman of the English Department.

Nadeem Farhat delivered a presentation on the occasion titled ‘Indigenous
Perspective of Research’. The presentation shed light on the importance of
research from an Islamic perspective and the role that the Islamic institutions
can play for its amoleriation.

Later, IPS team had an interactive session with the students discussing various
matters of mutual interest, following which they made a visit to the
University’s library as well.
