The working paper ‘Developing Objectives-based Index for Islamic Banks’ has been produced under the UMT fellowship at IPS. It attempts to help contribute in developing a framework to evaluate the current practice of Islamic banking sector on the basis of the theoritical criteria of Islamic economics developed since 1970s.
