IPS set to co-organize an int’l media conference with KU, HEC (Sindh) and Greenwich University in Karachi

IPS is collaborating with the University of Karachi’s Mass Communication Department, Higher Education Commission (Sindh) and Greenwich University in co-organizing an international media conference titled ‘Post Trust Era-Trends in media’ which is scheduled to be held on February 15-16, 2022 in Karachi.

The conference is set to assemble national and international media scholars, pundits, and thinkers to deliberate upon various media related subjects, including fake news dilemma, journalism vs public relations, social media trends and 5th generation warfare in the post-truth era.

The academic event, which is currently in the phase of inviting research scholars to submit their research papers for the conference, is aimed at developing better understanding of the causes and consequences of post truth dynamics amid pseudoscience, fake news, and conspiracies.
