Allama Muhammad Asad and Formation Of Pakistan

The seminar titled ‘Allama Muhammad Asad and Formation Of Pakistan’ was jointly organized by Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) and Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) to highlight the contributions of Allama Muhammad Asad for Islam in general and Pakistan in particular.

The session was addressed as a chief guest by Senator Raja Muhammad Zafar ul Haq and presided over by Professor Dr Qibla Ayaz, chairman, CII. The speakers included Khalid Rahman, executive president, IPS, Dr Khalid Masood, former chairman, CII, Dr Muhammad Arshad, chairman, Department of Urdu Encyclopedia of Islam, University of the Punjab, and Dr Ikram ul Haque, secretary, CII. A message from Dr Anis Ahmad, vice chancellor, Riphah International University (RIU) was also read out at the session.
