‘Best Utilization of Human and Financial Resources’
Aimed at enhancing efficiency and productivity of IPS’ team members, IPS LEAD – the learning, excellence and development program of the Institute organized a session with IPS Associate Ikram-ul-Haque Syed, titled ‘Best Utilization of Financial and Human Resources’, on January 29, 2025.
Referencing the teachings of renowned management expert Peter Drucker, Ikram-ul-Haque emphasized the significance of goal writing for employees at all levels i.e., operational, tactical, and strategic. He noted that structured goal-setting enhances productivity, fosters professional success, and helps employees align their tasks with broader organizational objectives. He also elaborated on the six essential steps of management—planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling, directing, and leading—highlighting their role in effective organizational operations.
Addressing financial resource management, Ikram-ul-Haque underscored the need for rationalization of expenses, strategic budgeting, and responsible financial planning to ensure sustainable growth. He also emphasized the role of cost-benefit analysis, resource allocation strategies, and financial forecasting in maintaining economic stability within an organization.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion, allowing team participants to explore practical applications of the insights shared.
