Book Launch of ‘Al Muhallab – The First Standard-Bearer of Islam in the Region of Pakistan’

Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) is organizing the book launch  of ‘Al Muhallab – The First Standard-Bearer of Islam in the Region of Pakistan’, authored by Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer, Aalim Judge, Federal Shariat Court & A scholar of Islamic jurisprudence and history.

The book is an insightful exploration of the legacy of Al-Muhallab Ibn Abi Sufra, the Muslim general who introduced Islam to the region of present-day Pakistan in 664 AD, nearly five decades before Muhammad Bin Qasim. This groundbreaking work sheds light on Al-Muhallab’s military leadership, strategic victories, and profound influence on South Asia’s religious and cultural landscape.
