CAFIU Delegation Visits IPS

A three member delegation of Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU) visited IPS on December 24. The delegation was led by Mr. Ai Ping, Director General Bureau 1, International Department Central Committee, Communist Party of China and included Ms. Rao Hui Hua and Mr. Zhao Qiang. They exchanged views with IPS team, headed by DG, on the political situation and forthcoming elections in Pakistan.
They also discussed the issues regarding relationship between the two countries. Mr. Yao Jing, Deputy Chief of Mission and Mr. Wang Zheng from the Political section of Chinese embassy in Islamabad accompanied the delegation. IPS research Coordinators, Irfan Shahzad and Nasir Ahmed Nawidi were also present at the meeting.
