Delegation of Muftis visit IPS
A delegation comprising Muftis (religious scholars with the authority to issue edicts) belonging to mixed sects visited IPS on an exposure trip organized by Shariah Academy, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) on November 25, 2015.
The delegates were briefed about the vision, mission, objectives and achievements of IPS by Naufil Shahrukh, Head of Outreach and Nadeem Farhat Gilani, Research Coordinator, which was followed by a lively interactive session. The discussion also touched upon various other matters of mutual interests including the role of think tanks in modern-day policymaking, internal situation of Pakistan and the country’s foreign policy over different international issues.
