DG-IPS participates in the 3rd conference of China-South Asian Think-Tank Forum
On the invitation of Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences, DG-IPS Khalid Rahman visited Kunming, China to participate in the 3rd conference of China-South Asian Think-Tank Forum (CSATTF), titled ‘Building Belt and Road: Towards a Community of Shared Interest’, held on June 12-13, 2015.
On the invitation of Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences, DG-IPS Khalid Rahman visited Kunming, China to participate in the 3rd conference of China-South Asian Think-Tank Forum (CSATTF), titled ‘Building Belt and Road: Towards a Community of Shared Interest’, held on June 12-13, 2015.
DG-IPS, who was among the five delegates from Pakistan, chaired one of the panel discussions in which he made a keynote speech ‘Connectivity and Progress’, delivering an insightful presentation on ‘Belt and Road Initiatives and CPEC in the larger Context’.
The conference, which was attended by eminent scholars, researchers and high level officials from South Asian countries, aimed at promoting understanding among China, South and South Asian countries to improve cooperation and bilateral and multilateral relations in the field of economic, cultural and social development.
