Dr Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi

Dr. Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi was appointed as the 17th Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) on May 21, 2024. He also serves as the Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Naeemi and the Chairman of the Muttahida Ulema Board Punjab. Recently honored with the prestigious ‘Sitara-i-Imtiaz’ (Star of Excellence) by President Asif Ali Zardari on Pakistan Day, March 23, 2024, Dr. Naeemi’s contributions to Islamic scholarship and leadership have been widely recognized.

An alumnus of Government College Lahore, he earned a gold medal for his master’s degree in Arabic from Punjab University and holds a PhD in Islamic Studies, further establishing his expertise in the field. Dr. Naeemi’s leadership and dedication continue to influence the landscape of Islamic thought and education in Pakistan.
