‘Envision a brighter future’ – A discourse on the potential and future of Pakistan
IPS’ Senior Research Associate Dr Shahzad Iqbal Sham delivered an address on the occasion of Pakistan’s Defence Day while engaging with journalists from newspapers, radio, and television, at the Shaan National Press Club, Islamabad on September 5, 2024.
The speaker emphasized the potential of improvement for Pakistan’s future in his speech. Unlike other speakers, Dr Sham’s address tackled the prevailing atmosphere of despair, drawing comparisons with other countries to illustrate both challenges and opportunities facing the nation, aimed at transforming hopelessness into hope by encouraging the audience to envision a brighter future for Pakistan.
