Exposure visit of Army Officers
A group of army officers attending a course at Da’wah Academy visited IPS as part of their exposure trip on September 11, 2018.
The officers were given a presentation on the Institute’s history and endeavors by Syed Nadeem Farhat, senior research officer at IPS. The introductory briefing was followed by an interactive session with DG-IPS Khalid Rahman, who gave insightful answers to the visitor’s questions relating to contemporary issues like current political scenario in Pakistan, the use of media in hybrid war, etc. The officers, who expressed keen interest in contributing to the Institute’s work, were also briefed about different ways of staying engaged with IPS’ activities.
