Fatima Habib

Fatima Habib completed her master’s degree in Defense and Diplomatic studies (DDS) from Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi. She is doing her M. Phil from National Defense University in Strategic and Nuclear Studies (S&NS). Her areas of interests are Arms Control, Disarmament, nuclear proliferation and South Asian security. Fatima Habib was initially associated with the IPS as intern and later joined it as a research assistant. As a Research Assistant her role is to keep eye on the regional and global nuclear issues, regional security. Her main focus is on nuclear issues with special reference to Pakistan. Earlier she has taught  in different Universities of Rawalpindi.  During her association with Fatima Jinnah Women University as lecturer she also organized round tables, lectures and conferences. She has also occasionally contributed in different local newspapers related to security situation of the country.
