[International Seminar] The Kashmir Crisis: Amidst Regional and Global Dynamics
Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), Islamabad, and Policy and Research Forum, Jammu and Kashmir (PRFJK) are co-organizing an international seminar titled ‘The Crisis in Kashmir: Amidst Regional and Global Dynamics’ at Pearl Continental Hotel, Muzaffarabad, on 28 November 2019 at 10:00 AM (sharp).
Speakers:
Professor Roger van Zwanenberg | Renowned intellectual and accomplished writer, founder of Pluto Journal – a research publishing hub for a number of social sciences journals from across the globe.
Dr. Akis Kalaitzidis | Professor of political science at the Department of Government, International Studies and Languages (GISL), University of Central Missouri (UCM).
Yashpal Tandon | An academic, political activist and rural development specialist; founder and director of Southern and Eastern African Trade Information and Negotiations Institute (SEATINI), visiting professor, Middlesex University, UK.
Prof. Dr. Halil Toker (Sitara-e Imtiaz) | Head of Urdu Language and Literature Department, Istanbul University, Turkey, and author of two publications on Kashmir.
Dr. Fazl Hadi Wazin | Professor, Salam University, Kabul.
Iftikhar Gillani | A renowned Turkey-based Kashmiri journalist.
Syed Fakhar Imam | Chairman, Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir.
Ms. Farzana Yaqoob | Former Minister for Social Welfare and Women Development, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Ahmer Bilal Soofi | An international law expert, Former Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Parliamentary Affairs and Human Rights, and founding President of the Research Society of International Law.
Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwar | Former Deputy Attorney General of Pakistan. President, Maritime Study Forum.
Dr. Asma Shakir Khawaja | Assistant Professor, Faculty of Peace and Conflict Studies, National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad.
Air Cdre Khalid Iqbal | A senior political and current affairs analyst, former Assistant Chief of Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
