IPS and INETTT explore avenues for future collaboration in energy transition
A meeting between International Network of Energy Transition Think Tank (INETTT) and IPS, held on May 27, 2024, marked another step forward in their three-year association focused on energy transition and policy development. This meeting set the stage for further collaboration aimed at fostering advancements in the energy sector.
The key representatives from IPS on the occasion included Syed Nadeem Farhat, acting head of operations and senior research fellow; Ameena Sohail, energy expert and member, IPS’ Energy Steering Committee, and Muhammad Wali Farooqi, research officer, whereas INETTT was represented in the meeting by Director Rabia Ferroukhi, Project Leads Lidia Wojtal and Laura El-Katiri, and Operations Officer Ahmet Özgür Çınar.
INETTT commended IPS for its substantial contributions to the energy sector, recognizing the think tank’s pivotal role in driving research and policy development. Both institutions expressed a strong commitment to continuing their collaborative efforts, emphasizing the potential for their partnership to make significant strides in the field of energy transition.
