IPS partakes in a webinar on ’70 Years of Pak-China Friendship’
Invited by China Study Centre, University of Peshawar, Chairman IPS Khalid Rahman participated in a webinar titled ‘70th Anniversary of Pakistan-China Stronger than Steel Friendship’ on June 10, 2021.
The webinar, which was set to highlight and study different aspects of Pak-China relations, was participated by high officials and renowned international relations experts from the two countries.
Rahman delivered a presentation on the occasion titled ‘Friends in Need and Deeds’, stating that when the diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China were established in 1951, few could have imagined that the customary move would lay foundations for such extraordinary bilateral ties. Today these deep-rooted relations are not only benefitting each other mutually, but also are instrumental in maintaining regional balance, peace and stability. Based on mutual respect, humility, modesty and sharing, Rahman viewed, the relationship model practiced by the two sides can serve as a prototype for any two or more countries to ensure durable peace, prosperity and development among them, provided they adhere to these principles in true spirit.
