Jammu and Kashmir: One Year After August 5, 2019 and Way Forward

Prepared by IPS-Working Group on Kashmir, this policy brief ‘Jammu and Kashmir: One Year After August 5, 2019 and Way Forward’ encapsulates the ideas, knowledge and experiences, based on nine meetings and three international seminars, held between August 5, 2019 and July 22, 2020. The brief summarizes the policy recommendations presented during these sessions, by classifying them in six distinct policy domains. These include Political, Diplomatic, Psycho-social, Law-fare, Economic and Military/Strategic policy domains. Thus, it offers focused policy proposals in each respective domain for the consideration of relevant institutions and stakeholders.
