The Living Scripts | Shamim Ahmed Khan (Former Secretary, Ministry of Commerce)

The fourth program of the series of sessions titled ‘The Living Scripts’ was held at IPS with Mr Shamim Ahmed Khan, former secretary for Ministry of Commerce, on July 11, 2019. He has also served as additional secretary for Production and Commerce, as well as the first secretary of Pakistan Investment Board (subsequently restructured as BOI).
Khan, apart from sharing his rich experiences in public and private sectors, also shared enlightening stories from the difficult times he faced in his earlier life, including the heart wrenching events witnessed and experienced during the 1947 independence movement.
