MoU between IPS and ICRC

A MoU was signed between IPS and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on June 12, 2019, for the promotion of International Humanitarian Law (IHL), Humanitarian Principles and its compatibility with Islamic Shariah by carrying out joint research, co-organization of seminars, conferences and roundtables, and sharing of intellectual and expert resources over the matter. A collaborative two-day ‘National Roundtable on Islam and Humanitarian Principles’ scheduled on August 27-28, 2019 is set to be the first major activity being held under the agreement.
