Policy Narratives on Food and Nutrition Security

The brief discusses the idea of ‘the basket of policies’, which has been coined in w.r.t four dimensions of food security, containing 24 policy options that may be workable across micro, meso and macro lines. The brief deduces that instead of making isolated strategies, a holistic basket of policies for all dimensions of food and nutrition security need to be concurrently launched in the country in the post pandemic scenario, and this practice can be done efficiently and effectively in close coordination of provincial and federal administrative units.
