“Prompt and informed decision-making vital part of career development” – Chairman IPS

IPS
LEAD (the Learning, Excellence and Development program of IPS) facilitated
AIESEC-NUST Society in holding a two-day career development workshop for the
University’s students on September 25-26, 2021.

The
workshop, which was addressed by career counsellors, mentors and professionals,
apprised and capacitated participants on the skills like public speaking, job
interviews, etc. while also giving them insights into the corporate world, the
current job market and concurrent employer expectations.

The
workshop concluded with the lecture of Chairman IPS Khalid Rahman, who
highlighted before the students the importance of prompt and informed decision
making in career development, while also stressing on the role of one’s
ambitions and values in choosing and pursuing a professional career.
