Session with Rai Haris Manzoor: World’s youngest ever to complete O’Levels
A session with Rai Haris Manzoor – the world record holder for passing O-level examination at the youngest age was held at IPS on May 28, 2014 to appreciate and celebrate his extra-ordinary accomplishment.
The nine-year old Islamabad-based boy, who broke the record of O-level’s 800 year history, was accompanied by his proud father, Rai Manzoor Nasir and Hanan Ali Abbasi, president, National Youth Assembly.
The discussion in the session revolved around the landmark, where Rai Manzoor shared how he withdrew Haris from school and taught him at home to prepare for the O-level examination. He told that Haris has completed Nazra Quran and is pursuing Islamic education alongside the conventional studies.
Hanan Abbasi praised the young lad terming him a gem who has become a role model for other youngsters to follow.
DG-IPS Khalid Rahman presented Haris with a gift and appreciation letter on behalf of the Institute and extended his heartiest felicitations. He said that the boy has become a national pride as well as a source of inspiration for the youth of Pakistan.
