VC-IPS partakes in a roundtable discussion with former Afghan Finance Minister

IPS’ Vice Chairman Ambassador (r) Syed Abrar Hussain was invited by Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI)’s Centre for Afghanistan, Middle East & Africa (CAMEA) on February 20, 2023 to participate in a roundtable discussion on developments relating to Afghanistan with Dr Omer Zakhilwal, Former Afghan Finance Minister.

The roundtable discussion was focused on the evolving situation in Afghanistan as well as Pakistan-Afghanistan relations, whereas the political, diplomatic, security, trade and people-to-people aspects of the bilateral relationship were also discussed.

VC-IPS on the occasion shared his views and assessments over ever evolving Pak-Afghan relations as well as suggestions for the way forward.
